dist0
Email brief

Your buyers’ subreddits, distilled into one email.

Each brief brings the buyer pains, competitor mentions, and Reddit threads worth a reply — on the rhythm you set, with nothing new to log into.

Paste your website. We will send your invite by email.

02Done for you

We read every thread. You get the takeaways.

Doing this yourself means scrolling subreddits every day, guessing which posts matter, and copying links into a doc. dist0 does that work and writes up what it found.

A messy stack of raw Reddit threads on the left and the same content distilled into a clean dist0 email brief on the right, with a short arrow labeled dist0 between them.
dist0 does the reading

dist0 finds the subreddits your buyers use, reads the latest posts, and sorts the signal from the noise — the buyer pains worth knowing, the competitor mentions, and the threads worth a reply.

It lands in your inbox

It arrives as an email. There is no new dashboard to check, no tool to learn. If a day turns up nothing worth your time, dist0 does not send.

03What's in the email

A walk through one brief.

A dist0 email brief: the date and website at the top, the line showing how many Reddit posts were read and the watched subreddits, a count of buyer pains and competitor mentions, the takeaway, then buyer pains written up with their Reddit sources, and competitor mentions.
  1. 1

    Date and project

The date range this brief covers, the website it was prepared for, and the number of Reddit posts dist0 reviewed over that period.

  2. 2

    Watched subreddits

The communities dist0 reviewed for this brief. dist0 maintains this list automatically, and you can adjust it at any time.

  3. 3

    The stats

The number of buyer pains and competitor mentions dist0 identified this period.

  4. 4

    The takeaway

A plain-language summary of what your buyers expressed this period, in one or two sentences.

  5. 5

    Buyer pains

The specific problems people described this period, each with a short title and a summary of what they are struggling with.

  6. 6

    Competitor mentions

Where products in your category were discussed, and how the community described them.

  7. 7

    The quote

For each entry, a direct quote from the original Reddit comment, shown with the author's username and the subreddit it appeared in.

  8. 8

    The sources

For each entry, the Reddit posts it was drawn from, with a link to every post and the total number of posts behind it.

04How often

It comes on a schedule you set.

Choose daily or weekly. dist0 only sends when there's something worth your time — so you keep up with your market without the daily scroll through Reddit.

A dist0 inbox showing several briefs arriving on a regular schedule, each dated on a different day, one after another down the list.
Daily or weekly

Your plan sets the pace — a daily brief for busy markets, a weekly one for quieter communities. When nothing turns up that’s worth your time, no email goes out.

A before-and-after of a dist0 watched-subreddits list, with one quiet community dropped and a more active one added in its place.
The list stays relevant

dist0 watches which communities your buyers actually use. When one goes quiet, it swaps in a livelier one, so every brief stays close to where the conversation is happening.

05FAQ

Questions about the email brief.

If you have a different one, write us at support@dist0.com.

How often will I get a brief?
As often as your plan allows — daily or weekly. Fast-moving markets do well with a daily brief; quieter communities are fine on a weekly one. If a day has nothing worth your time, dist0 does not send a brief.
Will this clutter my inbox?
No. You get one brief per cycle, and only when there is real signal. Empty days are skipped.
What happens if a subreddit I follow goes quiet?
dist0 notices when a community stops turning up useful posts and looks for better ones to watch, so your brief stays relevant. You can also change the list yourself.
Can I change which subreddits dist0 reads?
Yes. Tell the dist0 Slack bot which communities to add or drop. More ways to edit the list are coming.
How do I stop the emails?
Every brief has a link to manage or stop your emails. You stay signed in to dist0 either way.
